Mmyes. It's been ages I was here. The most alarming proof of this is the over 200 deviations on my watchlist that I have to shift through. Oh joy, eh? But all in all, 's good to be back. Now that exams finished in school (for now) and it's nearly the end of the first semester, this ought to get a little bit easier now. Well, once the christmas hols end anyways.
As far as the holidays go, 's been great. I haven't done anything at all since school ended. Well, we went ice skating with people from our class on friday after school, which was good fun. We gorged ourselves on wonderfully unhealthy food from the restraunt at the rink (giant cheesburger + fries for me!) and then went to the weinachtsmarkt in the city. We spent a bit of time browsing through all of the pretty, sparkly stuff that no-one wants but everybody buys anyways, and then went to eat something. (Again.) On the way to get some gluhwein some of us (none of the guys unfortunately) stopped to have a go on this two-story merry-go-round. I like glittery pink ponies. ^.^ Later we split up accidentally, and spent an hour or so trekking through the cold, snowy streets in search for everybody else. (In the wrong direction. >.< ) Eventually we got together again, and spent more time getting fat at Starbucks.
The rest of the holidays (so far) have been great. Some friends of ours came over on... Last sunday? I think. We had a snowball fight in the park next to our house, which was brilliant. A faceful of snow has never felt better!
We spent a rather quite christmas decorating the tree, eating rice porridge and other christmassy delicacies. (Which I don't really like. Besides the ham.) In the evening we exchanged presents. We got some new Wii game, kinda like Wii sports or fit but much more hardcore, which one of my sisters adores, (the other one prefers the 2kg of chocolate that she got) and Super Mario Galaxy. (Finally- I've been wanting that nearly as badly as I wanted Okami last year!) I got a bit of chocolate too, and a few books. (Including The Hunger Games and Catching fire- finished reading both in say, 36 hours. LOVED THEM.) OH! I also got a jar of dirt from Ella!
Now we're not really doing much. I'm just going to laze about doing absolutely nothing at all until new year's eve, when we have some people coming over.
And then it's back to school. Hurrah.
Concernig art, I found my pastels again! They'd been missing for ages, but I rediscovered them deep withing the depths of the black hole that is my cupboard-for-random-things. I also played around with my aquarel pencils and watercolours, so you can expect three new pictures up when I manage to get decent photos of them. (They're all A3 sized, so too big to fit into the scanner T.T)
Otherwise, I've got nothing much to report. We have to decide on our subject choices for the last two years of school, which has me in a bit of a pickle. Can't decide whether or not I'm good enough to take 4-hour art. Oh well. I'll go bang my head on the desk again for a while.
Oh yes. Here's a shocker: I re-joined Neopets in the beginning of December.
(So I'm practicing the art of HTML coding for petpages. Forget lookups until I feel brave enough to attempt relearning CSS.)
